Service Description

At Cassandra’s Creative Classroom, I help children aged 4–12 develop strong English literacy skills alongside their Dutch education. Lessons are individually tailored to build confidence in phonics, reading, writing, spelling and comprehension, while fostering a lifelong love of books and learning. With over 15 years of teaching, literacy intervention and school leadership experience across the Irish, British, IB and IPC curricula, I provide expert, personalised support for bilingual and multilingual learners. Who is this programme for? Perfect for children who: * Are aged 4–12 * Attend Dutch, International, ITK or Taal schools * Are growing up bilingual or multilingual * Want to maintain strong English literacy while learning Dutch * Need extra support with reading, writing or spelling * May return to an English-speaking school in the future * Benefit from personalised, confidence-building teaching Lessons are tailored to each child and may include: * Phonics * Reading * Writing * Spelling * Comprehension * Vocabulary * Reading fluency * Creative literacy activities An inclusive approach Lessons are adapted to support children with: * ADHD * Autism (ASD) * Dyslexia * Literacy gaps * Processing or attention differences * Learning anxiety Every child is taught at their own pace in a supportive, encouraging environment.
